Dataforth's leadership team combines decades of engineering expertise, technology innovation, manufacturing experience, and business leadership to advance the company's mission of delivering high-performance, reliable industrial measurement and control solutions worldwide.

Lee Payne
Founder

Lee Payne founded Dataforth Corporation in 1984 following a successful engineering career with Burr-Brown Corporation. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and brings more than 40 years of experience in precision analog electronics and industrial measurement technology.

Prior to founding Dataforth, Lee served as a design engineer and engineering manager at Burr-Brown, where he contributed to the development of advanced analog technologies including active filters, data acquisition systems, and high-performance analog conversion solutions. His vision for rugged, reliable, Instrument Class® products continues to guide Dataforth's engineering philosophy today.

 

Georg Haubner
Chief Executive Officer

Georg Haubner joined Dataforth in 2017 and serves as Chief Executive Officer, leading the company's strategic growth, customer engagement, and market development initiatives. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany, and an MBA from the University of Arizona.

Before joining Dataforth, Georg held leadership positions in product management, marketing, and business development with Rain Bird, Cirrus Logic, National Semiconductor, and Texas Instruments in the United States and Germany. His experience combines engineering knowledge with global technology market expertise.

John Lehman
Chief Technology Officer

John Lehman serves as Chief Technology Officer and has been instrumental in the development and advancement of Dataforth products since joining the company in 1989. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona.

Throughout his career at Dataforth, John has contributed to the design, development, and manufacturing of the company's complete product portfolio, with particular expertise in high-performance signal conditioning technology. He has also authored technical articles on signal conditioning theory and practical applications.

Otto Fest
Production Manager

Otto Fest brings more than 35 years of electronics manufacturing experience to Dataforth. His background includes positions with International Microtronics, Burr-Brown, and Hughes Aircraft Company.

Otto joined Dataforth in 2014 and has supported the company's manufacturing operations through roles in repair, production, and process improvement before becoming Production Manager in 2022.

Dan Center
Supply Chain Manager

Dan Center manages Dataforth's supply chain operations, supporting procurement, production planning, and supplier relationships. He holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Dan joined Dataforth in 2017 after previous roles in procurement, component acquisition, and team leadership with organizations including Microsoft and Philip Morris International.
