Shielding and Grounding

Tech Note

Protecting signal lines against electromagnetic interference is important if you want accurate, reliable, repeatable data. Although this may be a universally accepted statement, many overlook some of the sources of electromagnetic interference.

The two (2) application notes offered here discuss the various issues involved with capacitive coupling, inductive coupling, and magnetic coupling. In addition, shielding, grounding and in the case of Dataforth SCM5B products, isolation modules are shown to be excellent solutions.

Please download these app notes and share them with your colleagues.
