Ongoing Dataforth Expansion Results from Record 2006 Growth

Press Release

Release Date: Mar 19 2007
Dataforth Corporation of Tucson, Arizona, announces ongoing expansion efforts resulting from record growth in 2006. "We've seen a 30 percent increase in our business, in both domestic and international markets, over 2005," said Bill McGovern, National Sales Manager. To keep pace with this success, Dataforth has increased production capacity by 50 percent through significant additions to production machinery, product inventory, square footage, and staff.

A new MyData MY12e SMT machine has joined Dataforth’s existing SMT machinery, along with a Heller 1809 8-zone lead-free reflow oven. Both new pieces are situated in the reconfigured and ESD carpeted SMT production area, a dedicated, leading-edge controlled environment. Together, they represent a half-million dollar investment in state-of-the-art equipment and confirm the company’s commitment to on-time product delivery.

Dataforth also has added a 7000-square-foot (650-square-meter) facility to its production resources and increased product inventory by $1.5 million.

To support the added capacity, the Dataforth staff has grown by 30 percent.

Dataforth Corporation was established in 1984 and is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of Instrument Class® industrial electronics for signal conditioning, data acquisition, and data communications for industrial and institutional markets.
