Embedded Development Engineer

Job Description
Design, develop, debug and test firmware for small to mid-range microcontrollers and SoCs which are the heart of high performance data acquisition products used in industrial process control. Work with technological advances in hardware to provide modern solutions for factory automation and demanding small and large scale test and measurement applications. Implement Internet-of-Things connectivity and functionality.

Involvement in design is from product inception through manufacturing. The small engineering staff allows individuals to have direct influence on corporate success and see immediate results of their contributions.

Design and manufacturing takes place at two facilities in Tucson, Arizona. Close coupling between Engineering and Manufacturing gives designers a unique product development environment.

Requirements
Applicants must have experience in embedded development involving microcontrollers and elements such as ADC, DAC, PWM, I2C, SPI, and standard protocols.

IoT, wireless, and mobile app experience are highly desirable.

A solid background in analog and digital circuit design is essential.

BSEE, BSCE, BSCS. Advanced degrees are preferred.

Use of standard development and debug tools - Logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, code analyzers, IDEs, programmers, oscilloscopes, signal generators and other equipment are located individual engineering offices.

The engineering environment is open with frequent communication between team members.
