Product Development Engineer

Design Environment Engineers are given primary responsibility for product development from concept through manufacturing. The inclusive team environment encourages innovation and is supported using latest technologies and tools. Onsite manufacturing in Tucson, AZ provides a unique design experience.

Responsibilities
  • Analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design
  • Interface to modern SoC microcontrollers, collaborate with firmware developers
  • Complete product design - packaging, interconnect, system considerations
  • Design for EMC compliance, hazardous location operation
  • Breadboarding concept circuits
  • Electrical test and characterization of prototypes
Skills & Education You Need
  • Experience in product design, design for manufacturing
  • Experience with industrial process control and SCADA systems
  • Design of robust, reliable, products that are intuitive to use
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics
  • Collaboration with team members in engineering, manufacturing, marketing

Test Development Engineer

Design Environment Engineers are given primary responsibility for product development from concept through manufacturing. Responsibilities
  • Develop modern production test solutions for existing product lines
  • Design production test hardware and software for new products
  • Complete test design – enclosures, wire harnesses, safety mechanisms
  • Breadboarding concept test circuits
  • Product revision support - test, characterization, release to manufacturing
Skills & Education You Need
  • Experience in product test, volume manufacturing test
  • Experience with analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits
  • Design for robust, reliable, test equipment – safe and intuitive to use
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics
  • Collaboration with team members in engineering, manufacturing, marketing
